We are all living and working through unprecedented times. In Park City’s 23-year history, we have supported our clients, SMEs and corporates alike, through many challenging times, but never before have we faced both health and economic threats at the same time.
We are all having to adapt quickly and find new ways of working efficiently whilst also learning how to combine this with family living. None of this is in any way normal.
At Park City, having implemented our business continuity plan, we were able to move to homeworking with our IT and communication systems fully operational as if we were still in the office. And here is the first of many norms that will be questioned once we are through the current situation, just how much do we need office spaces, shared working environments and hot desking? We’ll leave that to another day.
We continue to support businesses large and small, helping them navigate through the myriad of new updated government guidelines. It’s also worth reminding each other that although the circumstances are unprecedented, all businesses are still required to meet and operate within current employment law and health and safety legislation. Saying that, the need to act quickly is recognised and that’s where our professional team excel, attending regular legal briefings in the last few days on the way we need to interpret and implement the furlough scheme for staff. Our team are responding to high numbers of companies needing to take advantage of this job retention scheme for the benefit of their employees and their business.
Working together has never been more important. The reliance on client and business partner relationships or customer-supplier chains leveraging the trust and support that, in our case, has been built up over years of client investment and supplier service provision is the way we will all survive and live to trade another day.
Please continue to contact us in the same way and be assured all emails and telephone communications are being managed and responded to. We appreciate these are challenging times, but what I can assure you is that you have our total commitment, that of our loyal team, to provide you with the best possible advice to support you through this difficult time. Working together, we are stronger. Please keep safe and well.
