Workplace Safety Essex

Health & Safety Consulting at Park City

The Fire Risk Assessment will determine the chances of a fire starting and the dangers from the fire that your premises present for the people who use them and any person in the immediate vicinity. It will take the whole of your premises into account, including outdoor locations and any rooms or areas that are rarely used.

It’s a legal requirement for all businesses to complete a fire risk assessment, document it and review it annually.

When working with Park City Consulting, your dedicated health & safety business partner will carry out the following actions when conducting a fire risk assessment on your premises.

  • Identify the fire hazards
  • Identify the people who are at risk of harm
  • Provide recommendations to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the safety of your employees and others
  • Identify what physical fire precautions and management arrangements are necessary to ensure the safety of people in your building if a fire does start.
  • Record all fire risk assessment findings in a detailed report
  • Your business partner will then talk through their findings in the report, showing you how to make the changes to be compliant.

The Fire Risk Assessments we carry out will help you ensure that your fire safety procedures, fire prevention measures and fire precautions (plans, systems and equipment) are all in place and working properly and the assessment will identify any issues that need attention using The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and associated guidance as the reference.

After the assessment, a printed report will be sent to you with the findings and recommendations highlighted by the assessment outlining the action you will need to take to comply with the current legislation (The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).

Whatever your business, whether you have one site, or several premises, Park City’s expert Health & Safety Business Partner can visit your place of work to offer you Fire Safety advice or guidance. The purpose of the fire safety audit is to verify your organisation’s compliance with the expected fire safety standards. Your designated consultant will complete a full audit of your workplace, making detailed observations to see how well you are complying with the relevant fire regulations.

As a result of the audit, a detailed report will be written up based on the consultants’ findings. Within the report, there will be suggestions on what you, as an organisation, should do to comply with the relevant Fire Regulations. Our team is here to support your business, help you keep your employees safe, and ensure compliance with the law.

Acting as a proactive management tool, your health & safety audits are used to review and evaluate how well your organisation is complying with the legal requirements of health and safety in the workplace.

Our fully competent and qualified health & safety specialists can offer you a large portfolio of different services, from training programmes to Health & Safety audits to fire risk assessments and fire safety audits. You, the employer, can sleep well at night, knowing that whatever direction your business is moving in, Park City will advise and guide you every step of the way.

Your dedicated health & safety business partner will visit your premises and conduct a Health & Safety Audit. This is a thorough review of your premises and your work activities to identify any areas of non-compliance, highlighting possible risks to which your employees may be vulnerable including identification of other people who may be affected by your work activities.

A prioritised report will be sent to you with the findings and recommendations highlighted by the audit outlining the action you will need to take to comply with current legislation. Get in touch with the Health & Safety specialists at Park City Consulting today to find out more.

Your Health & Safety policies and procedures will be provided by your dedicated Health & Safety Specialist. The purpose of this document is to inform your employees of health and safety matters relating to your business. Your bespoke policies and procedures will include Safe Working Practices, Risk Assessment Forms and Procedures, Fire Procedures, Fire Safety Audit, PPE and COSHH Requirements and First Aid Procedures.
