Over five millions people throughout the UK work unpaid overtime, meaning employers got £32.1 billion of free work last year.
Today marks the point where employees finish their unpaid days and are earning for themselves.
It is strongly advised that today is spent working your actual hours, taking your full lunch break and leave work on time.
Not taking breaks and working extra hours are not good for our health. It causes high levels of stress and tiredness at work, alongside putting strains on home life and relationships.
An overtired worker is not a productive one, which is bad for business.
