Thinking Ahead for 2015

The first three months of 2015 have been a very busy time here at Park City. We’ve been taking stock of all the latest employment legislative updates in our HR Forward Focus – reporting on the key changes that will affect our clients’ organisations throughout 2015. Hot topics include Shared Parental Leave, Equal Pay, Adoption Pay and changes to the ACAS Code of Practice for Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures. As always, our team of experienced consultants are working hard to keep our clients updated on the latest developments and are on hand should you wish to discuss anything in further detail.

Our training suite also continues to be put to good use with our ongoing training provision on a range of Health & Safety subjects as well as Management Skills Courses. This is alongside the continued roll out of our sophisticated E-learning programme.

As the current Chairman of the Essex Institute of Directors, our Operations Director Tim Price has been emphasising the importance of exploiting the influence the IoD has in all matters of economic and public policy. As a past Chairman of IoD Essex myself, both Tim and I recently attended an event at the IoD headquarters in Pall Mall where we discussed, with a group of fellow past Chairman dissected and debated a range of topics including the skills gap, the Budget and impending election over an incredible meal and a glass or two of wine.
