Park City’s team have, over the weekend and today provided a summary of the “Need to know” elements of the latest Furlough extension and the Lockdown rules for Businesses. This will save you time navigating the raft of government guidance issues since the announcement of the second lockdown.
However, if you want to read the detail below are the links to the relevant guidance should you want them, there is more technical detail to come before November 5th, but you can be confident that your needs as a business leader or manager to be kept up to date and informed will be satisfied by our team. In addition, our team are on hand to take calls and emails from you as well as proactively contact you to discuss your specific business needs and individual scenarios.
Please Note: We also need to inform you all that a number of clients have received Covid- secure workplace spot checks from the HSE or Environmental Health Officer. We have continued to provide both remote audits, where we are unable to visit a workplace and physical Covid Secure audits to ensure that those clients who benefit from our H&S service are following the guidance for Covid-safe workplaces. Park City, as your nominated competent advisor, are prioritising these COVID-19 Secure audit visits as “essential travel” and as such we will continue to support this audit requirement. Please engage with our lead H&S consultant to review your Covid arrangements and by agreement allow us to visit your workplace to check and assist in your Covid secure arrangements. One important lesson so far is the requirement to log and record both the decisions you make in relation to making your workplace Covid secure and monitoring and recording any cleaning regime you have in place to provide a dated record of the cleaning is performed. You will be called by our consultant team again to arrange visits if we have yet to agree on a date for this Covid audit.

You may need to use more than one of these guides as you think through what you need to do to keep people safe. Priority actions are outlined at the top of each guide.
There is different guidance for:
- schools, further education and childcare providers
- weddings and civil partnership ceremonies and receptions and celebrations
- public transport operators
