28 Years of Park City Consulting – A Message from Juliet Price

What 28 Years of Supporting UK Businesses Has Taught Me

This month, Park City Consulting turns 28. It’s a milestone that has given me a chance to pause, reflect, and feel an immense sense of gratitude.

What started as an idea drafted in my dad’s study during a trip to Park City, Utah, has grown into a business I’m incredibly proud of. I had a vision to create a business that made HR and Health & Safety simple, strategic, and genuinely supportive for business owners.

Since we opened our doors in 1997, the world of work has changed beyond recognition.

We’ve supported businesses through economic highs and lows, the introduction of the national minimum wage, the rollout of auto-enrolment pensions, countless employment law updates, and the ever-evolving health and safety landscape.

We’ve seen the rise of technology in the workplace, shifts in employee expectations, the growing importance of mental health and wellbeing, and more recently, the lasting impact of Brexit, COVID-19, and the widespread adoption of hybrid working models.

Throughout all of this change, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to helping businesses navigate complexity with confidence, clarity, and care.

From legislative changes and evolving compliance requirements to the more recent challenges of COVID-19, hybrid working, and workforce wellbeing, our mission has stayed the same: to give businesses the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to succeed through their people.

At Park City, we’ve always believed that when people thrive, businesses follow. And that’s what drives us every day.

We’ve built long-term relationships with businesses in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, warehousing, leisure, and more, organisations that play a vital role in the UK economy.

Our focus is on much more than ticking boxes or making sure policies are in place. We’re here to relieve the pressure business leaders feel, help line managers become confident decision-makers, and reduce the risk that comes with uncertainty.

To our clients, thank you for choosing us. Whether you’ve been with us for years or recently joined the Park City family, we value your trust and the work we do together.

To my team, your dedication and expertise make this work possible. It’s a privilege to lead such a passionate and skilled group of professionals who care deeply about the results we deliver.

As we look ahead, we remain ambitious. Our plans for 2025 and 2026 focus on continued innovation, service development, and building the next generation of leadership.

To everyone who has supported us along the way, thank you for being part of this journey. I’m excited for what’s next, and I’m proud of the legacy we’re building together.
